It's time to register for Advocacy Day 2010 which
will be held on April 19. Underwritten by PennPsyPAC, Advocacy
Day provides an opportunity for psychologists across the state
to gather and learn from PPA staff and fellow psychologists how
to present to state legislators the important issues that affect
the practice of psychology. If you are not satisfied with the
laws governing managed care and other issues that affect your
practice, this is your chance to do something about it.
We will meet in room 60 East Wing of the Capitol Building in
Harrisburg. Advocacy Day will consist of a legislative training
session from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with registration starting
at 9:30 a.m., and followed by visits with state legislators. Participants
are asked to make appointments with their legislators to be held
after the training session. CE credits will be awarded for attending
this event.
Please complete the attached registration form by April 10, 2010,
and send or fax it to the PPA office. If you have any questions
about this event, please contact Rachael Baturin at 717-232-3817
or Rachael@papsy.org.
We look forward to seeing you on April 19th!
